In active development

An open-world MMO where fighting is only one of the ways to matter.

DREAM Online is being built around real-time action combat, life skills as genuine main progression, and a world that changes on a schedule instead of sitting still. Development is happening in the open — the code, the design docs, and the plan are public.

DREAM Online is early and pre-release. There's no launch date, price, or player count to report yet — this page will update as those become real.

What the game is being built around

These are the design pillars guiding development right now. They describe intent and direction, not a finished feature list.

Combat

Real-time action combat

Combat is being designed around positioning, timing, and player skill rather than target-and-rotate menus.

Progression

Life skills as main progression

Gathering, crafting, fishing, cooking, and trading are planned as core paths forward, not optional side activities bolted onto combat leveling.

World

A world that changes on a schedule

Day and night, and recurring world events, are meant to shift what's available, what's dangerous, and where the opportunity is.

PvP

Dangerous, but rule-bound

Open-world PvP is being designed with real consequences and a level-scaling approach, so risk stays meaningful without being arbitrary.

NPCs

NPCs meant to feel alive

NPC systems are planned to react to events and player actions instead of standing in place waiting for a quest to be accepted.

Monetization

Convenience and style, not power

The current intent is that anything sold affects convenience or appearance only — never combat power.

What's actively being worked on

Development areas currently in progress, in no particular priority order. This list will change as work lands.

First playable foundation

The base slice of movement, combat, and world interaction that everything else builds on.

Live NPC behavior

Early systems for NPCs that respond to the state of the world around them.

Day/night and world-event economy

Rules for how the shifting world affects trade, risk, and opportunity.

PvP level scaling and consequences

How open-world PvP stays dangerous without punishing players unfairly for their level.

Marketplace and logistics systems

Player-driven trade and the systems that move goods around the world.

Character creation

Early direction for how players build and express their character.

A few common questions

When does DREAM Online launch?

There's no launch date yet. The project is in active development, and this page will be updated once a date is set.

What will it cost to play?

Pricing hasn't been decided. Whatever the model ends up being, the stated intent is that paid items affect convenience or cosmetics only, never combat power.

How can I support the project?

Development can currently be backed through the "Back development" link on this page, and you can follow progress directly on GitHub.

Is DREAM Online connected to other projects?

DREAM Online is part of a small family of independently operated platforms that carry one mission: help kids in need. That mission has its own public page at untilnokidinneed.com.
